722 University Avenue, Rochester, NY 14607

First Friday Gallery Night

D. G. Adams' futuristic work has been called "visual poetry" and "otherworldly, abstract, and luminous." He creates black-and-white photographic prints unlike any others you will see. Poet Kitty Jospe called him, "a fabulous magician who helps us see." German sculptor and photographer Dick Byer said, "This is not just photography, it is art, in the truest sense, by a master." Adams photographs for the exhibit were taken in Rochester and Sydney, Australia.

Joining D. G. Adams in the exhibit are 22 additional photographers exhibiting their work:  Lois Trieb is featured in the East Gallery and guest photographers are Karen Craft, Leah Koskie, Doug Lyttle, Julie Oldfield, and Brian Oyer. Award-winning photographs from Camera Rochester competitions feature the work of Bev Cronkite, John Ejaife, Lynda Howland, Matt Kornatowski, Joyce Pearson, and Ronald Weetman. Rounding out the exhibit is work by Artist-in-Residence, Jim Patton, as well as Gallery Partners Dick Bennett, Steve Levinson, Gil Maker, Don Menges, Dan Neuberger, Betsy Phillips, Gary Thompson, Phyllis Thompson, and Sheridan Vincent.
