The Arts & Cultural Council for Greater Rochester announces the availability of the following position:

Position Title:  Director of Development
Classification:  Full-time Exempt Position
Application Deadline:  May 31, 2012

Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for meeting annual fundraising goals, including individual, government, corporate and foundation giving
- Responsible for meeting annual individual and organizational membership goals
- Research, write, and manage corporate, government, and foundation grants
- Manage all areas of development, including prospect research, donor and member acknowledgments, and database tracking systems
- Assist the President and CEO in all areas of donor and member stewardship

Qualifications
- 3-5 years of development experience, and successful track record in fundraising and revenue generation preferred
- Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities, along with excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) required; database systems experience preferred
- Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred
