Job Opening - The Arts & Cultural Council

The Arts & Cultural Council for Greater Rochester announces the availability of the following position:

Position Title: Grants and Database Coordinator
Classification: Full-time Exempt Position

Job Responsibilities

Grants
• Assist with the management of the Arts & Cultural Council’s grant allocation program, which includes providing technical assistance to potential grant applicants, organizing grant panels, and tracking and auditing funded projects

Database
• Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the organization’s database systems, including entering gifts, creating and generating reports, and coordinating mailings
• Manage and track acknowledgments for all areas of the organization, including development and membership

Development
• Assist in all areas of development, including annual appeals, membership drives, and special events

Other Responsibilities
• Assist with the daily maintenance of the organization’s website
• Assist with daily mail and cash receipt processing
• Assist with other projects and assignments as needed

Qualifications
• 3-5 years of database management experience required
• Excellent attention to detail, including written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access) required, and experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Dreamweaver, InDesign, Photoshop) preferred
• Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred
