A Special Reception with Stephen Johnson

 Stephen
Johnson will be our honored guest during a special reception at Image
City Photography Gallery on Wednesday evening, June 13, 2012. The
reception begins at 5:30 p.m. Visit with us and meet one of the most
accomplished and best known professional photographers in the country.
Steve is a Canon Explorer of Light, a member of the Photoshop Hall of
Fame, the author of five books on photography, an educator, consultant,
and just one of the most interesting people you'll ever meet.
A pioneer in the use and advancement of
digital photography, Steve began photographing with a Dicomed Digital
Camera Insert in 1994. He has taught photography at the college level
since 1979, and for Kodak's original Center for Creative Imaging in
Camden Maine during the early 1990's. He has taught numerous workshops
for industry, designed digital photography programs, and has an ongoing
photography, publishing and consulting business in Pacifica, California,
where he teaches photography and printing, and displays his photographs
in Stephen Johnson Photography Studios, Galleries and Education Center
at the Pacifica Center for the Arts.
While at the gallery you'll have a
chance to get an early look at our newest show featuring the photography
of Rochester's own Bruce Bennett.
