ABOUT Art at The Armory:
(Read more on the ABOUT page at www.ArtatTheArmory.com.)
Art at The Armory is the two-day fine art Show and Sale, broadly nature-themed, that is moving into the grand space of Rochester’s spectacular Main Street Armory arena. Fifty or more artists will personally exhibit their artworks, filling a niche within Greater Rochester’s richly diverse arts community with the showcasing of nature-themed fine artistry in all its forms. Back by popular demand, Live Owls and Hawks will take the main stage three times each day, awing us with their beauty and helping to educate us about the wonders of nature which inspire the art, the artists, and the theme of our Show. For the further enjoyment of our patrons, the Armory’s food and beverage menus will feature seasonal specials such as homemade soups and chili, and Finger Lakes wines. Commencing the day after Veterans’ Day, the Show will honor military and CAP personnel with specially priced admission (FREE for those in uniform). Admission to the Show also is specially priced for seniors, students, and families.
FROM THE SHOW DIRECTOR:
“We hope the entire Greater Rochester community shares in our excitement about what’s ahead for Art at The Armory — our 3rd annual event which has been renamed for its new venue. Our Show began humbly with a handful of talented artists, and has quickly outgrown its previous location. We are super excited to be moving the Show to the awesome Main Street Armory, in Rochester’s eastside art district.”
– David Semple, Show & Education Director
